  • We
    have a fantastic opprtunity for an experienced Marketing Manager
    to join Girl Effect in our Kigali office and lead the development and
    implementation of Ni Nyampinga events
    and campaigns, as well as be the point person for the day to day on brand
    guardianship and all usages of the Ni Nyampinga brand.   
You’ll need to be an expert in brands
and branded communication and fully integrated in and connected to the creative
community and youth culture across Rwanda.
Key Responsibilities:
    • Representing
      the brand led approach across all touch points for Ni Nyampinga, working
      with strategy, editorial and operations to ensure that the Ni Nyampinga
      brand and brand values sits at the heart of everything we do.
    • Guardianship
      of the Ni Nyampinga brand, overseeing and approving day to day usage.
    • Contribute
      to the Ni Nyampinga events strategy in conjunction with the NN Head of
      Marketing ensuring the Ni Nyampinga brand delivers world-class events is connected
      to and embedded within youth culture
    • Develop
      a network of creative influencers and supporters whi can help guide and
      shape the development of the Ni Nyampinga brand
    • Develop
      the strategy for utilizing the Ni Nyampinga brand ambassador network to move
      beyond its distribution role and become a full time experiential
      marketing team for Ni Nyampinga
    • Contribute
      to the development and manage the roll out of all Ni Nyampinga marketing
      campaigns.
    • Actively
      seek out appropriate brand partnerships and opportunities to further
      support the Ni Nyampinga brand goals and manage their execution
    • Manage
      and develop the Ni Nyampinga Marketing Support role
    • Support
      the Ni Nyampinga Head of Marketing and wider Ni Nyampinga team to ensure
      Ni Nyampinga reaches its reach, impact and sustainability objectives
Skills and Experience:
    • Significant
      experience of Media, Brands and Marketing; with demonstrable experience
      of managing and developing brands (ideally in emerging markets)
    • Proven
      experience of growing brands across reach, impact and reputation
    • In
      depth knowledge and experience across the full creative production
      process; able to maximise efficiency and effectiveness
    • Deep
      knowledge of the media landscape and brand life cycle
    • Demonstrable
      experience of inspiring creativity and innovation in others (internally
      and with partners) leading to positive business outcomes
    • Demonstrates
      energy, resilience and passion for the work; taking a solutions focused
      approach to overcome challenges
    • A
      deep understanding of Rwandan youth culture
    • Experiencing
      working with content and editorial teams to advise on longform and
      shortform branded content
    • Significant
      experience of delivering large scale brand events
    • Excellent
      planning and project management skills
    • Innovative
      & entrepreneurial: can navigate a complex working environment to
      create smart solutions
