Essential Responsibilities
Leading Ghana Financial Services Organization through “Hub & Spoke” model where Hub is in Kenya COE and Spoke is in Ghana
Ensure excellence in GBS Financial Services delivery for Ghana & West Africa customers
Lead Ghana GBS Financial Services team to enhance and achieve operational excellence, and drive compliance, controllership and simplification of the processes in the center
Ensure compliance – Local STAT/IFRS/ TAX filing and reporting, Corporate reporting, Month & Quarter Closing processes, Accounts Reconciliations
Constant Risk Assessment, implementing and reviewing internal controls with all functions across all processes
Ensure smooth operations of accounting and financial services (including Banking, General Accounting, Accounts payables, Payroll and Travel & Living (T&L) expenses, Closing and Reporting)
Ensure compliance with local and Company regulations and laws
Prepare and review GBS budgets and pricing, and conduct periodical review and variance analysis
Lead the monthly reviews of the Balance Sheet and P&L, with the Controllership and FP&A teams
Organize and plan audit schedules, and coordinate with external and internal auditors
Manage the relationships with all key stakeholders at different level of organisation

Qualifications/Requirements:
Excellent Finance & Accounting skills in USGAAP, IFRS, STAT/ TAX areas
Excellent Leadership skills
7+ years of finance experience within a Multinational Company at a senior level
Relationship Building and Networking Skills with internal organization and customers
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High Integrity standards
Self-motivated, high energy with strong ability to deliver results
Excellent computer skills
Capable of working independently
Strong work ethic and commitment
Desired Characteristics Prior experience in Shared services or Outsourcing Services organization
Project management and coaching experience
A demonstrated change agent with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
