into the treatment of chronic malnutrition and we do this by partnering with
health centers to provide targeted agricultural support and comprehen

program model has proved to be working and has received huge support from
approximately 15,000 families that have benefited from it. We believe in
shifting the paradigm of dependency to one of prevention and self-sufficiency
and we are looking for team members that will continue to help us punch this
goal forward.

curriculum. It is also the visible face of our organization. We use the farm to
entertain guests and educate them about our model. It is also where we work and
serves as a daily inspiration to our staff.

Description
The
farm agronomist is in charge of all farm related activities, including the
direction and supervision of five permanent farm staff and hired labor. S/he
ensures that the farm is growing crops according to the GHI philosophy, that
the farm is well-maintained and healthy, and that all farm tasks related to the
program are completed on time. S/he will think critically about how to manage
production to meet the farm vision and will be especially focused on bringing
the farm to new levels of productivity to meet Aim 4 of the Farm Vision.

Terms
of Hire

This
position is a six month fellowship with the opportunity for permanent hire upon
satisfactory performance. During the six month fellowship, the candidate will
be supplied with a 50,000 Rwf transport stipend. After six months, the
candidate’s performance will be assessed and terms for permanent employment
will be discussed.
