The Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a specialist hospital providing burns treatment and reconstructive surgery across the South East of England. It also provides an expert neuromuscular rehabilitation service, and community medical services and minor injury services to the local community.

Queen Victoria was one of the first wave Foundation Trusts. It has consistently met the highest standards of quality of care and financial management as assessed by Monitor and the Care Quality Commission. QVH has an annual turnover of circa £55m, and employs circa 900 staff.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a successful fundraiser to join the Trust. You will play a lead role in growing our fundraising programme and developing relationship fundraising through patients, their relatives and the community whilst shaping the future fundraising profile of the organisation.
Proven fundraising experience is essential and we envisage that the successful candidate will possess a range of fundraising skills, together with strong planning and motivational qualities.

You must be a forward and creative thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills and be competent to represent fundraising campaigns at all levels. You will perform well under pressure and inspire confidence in your delivery.

The post will be initially for a one year, fixed term period. Renewal will be dependent on the post becoming self funding through successful fundraising initiatives.
