Full-Tuition HSE Scholarships for International Students in Russia

Applications are invited for
full-tuition HSE Scholarships at the National Research University Higher School
of Economics. These are merit-based scholarships open to international students for pursuing master’s
programme in 2017-2018.

The National Research University
Higher School of Economics is one of the leading and largest universities in
Russia. The university specializes in economics, social sciences, mathematics,
computer science, media communications and design.

Non-native English speakers must
submit TOE

FL, IELTS, or CAE test results (from no more than two years prior to
the the application submission). Native English speakers, as well as students
who have previously completed an entire degree exclusively in English, do not
need to submit proof of their English ability.

Course Level: Scholarships are awarded for pursuing master’s programme.

Study Subject: Full-tuition scholarships are available to study the
following programmes:

Interdisciplinary History: Usable Pasts, Applied Social Psychology, Big Data
Systems, Cognitive Sciences and Technologies: From Neuron to Cognition, Comparative
Politics of Eurasia, Comparative Social Research, Finance, Financial Economics,
Governance of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Linguistic Theory and
Language Description, Mathematics, Political Analysis and Public Policy,
Politics. Economics. Philosophy, Population and Development, Socioeconomic and
Political Development of Modern Asia, Statistical Learning Theory, Strategic
Corporate Finance and System and Software Engineering

(Master’s programs in Advanced Urban
Design, Global Business, International Business, and International Relations in
Eurasia, as well as all English-taught Bachelor’s programmes, are not eligible
for this scholarship)

Scholarship Award: Please note that scholarships cover only the cost of
tuition (210,000 – 370,000 rubles) and that all other costs (including
accomidation at HSE dormitories) must be covered by the student.

Scholarship can be taken in Russia

Abstract of your undergraduate thesis
Scan of diplomas and academic transcripts (if you have
not yet received your Bachelor’s diploma, please include an official copy
of your most recent academic transcript)
Letter of motivation (describing your reasons for
applying in the context of your long-term career goals and background, 500
words)
Resume/CV (including information about your education,
professional, and research experience, as well as language proficiency and
other skills)
Exam results confirming language proficiency (optional)
