The Fugee School, a
non-profit organization that provides education to refugee children and youth
in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a new Math Teacher! This is a unique
opportunity for those passionate about math to join a diverse and international
team.
The Fugee School
provides hands on and engaged learning to roughly 130 refugee children and
youth from six different countries, mainly Somalia. Working in collaboration
with the United Nations High C
ommissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and individuals
and organizations from Malaysia and internationally, this is an exciting
opportunity for someone passionate about ensuring all children and youth have
access to an education.
This is a part time,
(2:00-5:00 Monday-Friday) non-salaried position. We provide our teachers with a
monthly stipend to cover the cost of transportation and food.
