The Marketing and Communications Manager will be a self-starter with a results-oriented approach and ‘can do’ attitude, while thriving in a busy, fast-paced work environment and have an excellent ability to multi-task. The successful candidate will manage and implement daily activities within a diverse marketing communications and creative team with regard to both external and internal print and online marketing communications. Able to think strategically, project manage efficiently and execute on a tactical basis, he or she will demonstrate a strong sense of personal integrity and a commitment to excellence.
A minimum two-year commitment is required, with salary commensurate of experience. There is a six month probation period and upon completion of a three month period, all staff members are offered a health plan (including dental) and Employee Assistant Program. The position is based out of Me to We International office in Toronto (224 Carlton Street).

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining strategic communication and marketing plans for Me to We projects/programs in consultation with other departments and the Creative and Communications director to meet organizational objectives
• Execute on marketing and communications strategies to meet organizational objectives
• Manage implementation of strategic creative plans, take responsibility for project management to meet critical deadlines, and evaluate effectiveness of plans
• Execute marketing and communications to help raise the profile and brand image of the organization and develop audiences
• Ensure team maintenance of corporate standards/brand identity and market positioning in the development of various communications
• Oversee production of brochures and marketing literature including writing, design, artwork, and printing, as well as web marketing
• Manage and support a creative team in driving the concept, writing, and design of print pieces, metowe.com website, and other key communication pieces
• When needed, prepare and write content by researching product and developing the appropriate communications
• Ensure top notch customer service to internal stakeholders/departments and consistently meet project deadlines
• Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the project and project team, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
• Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet organizational core values
Skills and Qualifications:
• 3-5 years proven experience in the marketing and communications field
• Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience in all aspects of developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies
• Must be a strong project manager and possess impeccable organizational skills
• Online marketing skills
• Must demonstrate familiarity with a variety of marketing concepts, practices, and procedures
• Strong preference for candidates who have worked in a not-for-profit or social enterprise setting
• Experience managing and/or marketing to diverse audiences
• Proven experience successfully leading and managing the work of others within a marketing department
• Excellent and proven oral and written communications skills
• Design experience or working with design team a plus
• Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
• Solid customer service and collaboration skills
