Job Title: Fraud Analyst

Responsibilities
- Perform daily monitoring of the fraud alerts coming off the Fraud Management System and verifying all alerts and closing the alerts based on the fraud status i.e. fraud or non-fraud.
- Manage and coordinate all communications and escalations from Customer Care on fraud related issues as raised by customers, ensure proper case management and resolution within SLA.
- Responsible for the defining arid updating of rules on the fraud management system with approval from the Head of Department to improve the fraud detection scenarios.
Qualification & Skills
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Commence, IT, or other relevant discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Fraud Analyst or Specialist preferably with mobile money / banking experience or at least one year of operational experience in a recognized telecommunications Fraud Management System.
- Basic understanding of configuring rule based fraud systems.
- Functional knowledge of standard GSM Network& Mobile Banking.
- Good computer skills including MS Office and use of Analytical software such as SAS/ACS and SQL language.
