A well established Food factory in East Africa- is looking for competent candidates to fill in the position of Tetrapak Technician.
Successful candidates will report to the Maintenance In charge.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Repairing & servicing the Tetrapak machines & DE equipment as per the schedule with minimum cost of spares and maintenance
• Assisting in regular inspection of plant & machinery for maintenance work and systematic trouble shooting for minimum Pakmat wastage and to minimize down time
• Training the operators in operating & maintaining the machines for efficient output
• Assisting in compiling regular maintenance reports for the In-Charge
• Trouble shooting of the problems that may occur during operations in TBA 3, TBA 8, shrinking machines ,straw and cap applicator and card board packer
Qualifications:
• Minimum should be a diploma holder in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Minimum 5-6 years hands-on experience on TBA 3,TBA 8 and down- stream equipment
• People with certified training by Tetrapak will be preferred
Additional knowledge of Kaizen, AM and TPM will be an added advantage to the candidate.
Essential Skills and Traits:
• Strong Investigations skills, fluent English and Kiswahili languages, and good team players.
