Senior IT System Engineer (Healthcare)
Responsibilities
• Work efficiently in both a local and a virtual support team, responsible for Asia and Australia.
• Customer IT support for clinical software, working on a remote basis in order to provide the customer a high-quality support.
• Guarantee international support within normal office hours, as well as during on-call.
• Coordinate and organize activities within the scope of support, with internal and external partners, in order to ensure clinical operation for customers.
• Implement and provide training for the IT solution at the customer’s site and also offer remote support to colleagues if requested.
• Configure, maintain and implement IT interfaces to other systems in a customer environment.
• Document customer complaints in a ticketing system & follow escalation as per the defined service matrix
• Develop and train new team members.
• In depth knowledge of Oracle DB, Windows server, IT networks LAN/SAN
• Dicom, HL7 knowledge
• Willingness to work as and when required in a support team
Requirements
• Successfully completed qualification in the field of electronics engineering, computer science, physics or medicine, with an affinity for IT.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in customer IT support or implementation.
• Experience with clinical systems, as well as with clinical software and clinical procedures are an advantage.
• Knowledge of clinical workflow is a plus.
• Experience in the design and maintenance of IT systems, ideally in a hospital setting.
• Experience in implementing interfaces for 3rd party applications.
• Experience with a variety of hardware manufacturers.
Additionally you have experience in dealing with other languages and cultures. You have a good command of the English language, and ideally have experience of further languages. Additional languages are a plus. You are also able to grasp and elaborate on complex subjects and issues in an intelligent and structured manner. In addition, you are able to maintain an overview of the various support enquiries and set corresponding priorities. As well as your outstanding technical qualification, you also ensure a continuous focus on quality and the customer.
