Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drives vehicle allocated, operates equipment like bulldozers, motor graders,
excavators, wheel
loaders and vibrator rollers
• Ensure that the vehicle/equipment is in perfect road worthy condition before
use, including checking of tyre pressure,
oil, hydraulic fluid and distilled-water levels.
• Drivers will be required to deliver the Company’s correspondence, property
& equipment in line with the relevant Company policies and procedures
• Report any vehicle faults and defaults for mechanical repairs.
• Keep the vehicle clean.
• Carry out a daily inspection of equipment.
• Compile defect reports.
• Compile daily logbook entries.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
The required persons should meet the following requirements:
• Should have completed Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education
• Possess a driving permit with Classes B, CM/CH and H
• Should have a working experience of at least two years
• For equipment Operators, Certification by a recognized Certifying Body is an
added advantage.
