Job & Responsibilities
• Managing all aspects of the Cost Accounting function of the Group including planning, organizing, data gathering, analysis and reporting.
• Develops and maintains cost accounting systems that ensure compliance. This includes accurate accumulation and reporting of cost by contract or projects.
• Provide input into cost accounting techniques and methodologies which improve business insight, operational results and strategic decision making.
• Work with existing team members to provide monthly forecasting and analytics associated with manufacturing costs.
• Assist Chief Financial Controller with month-end financial reporting responsibilities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA, CPA or CMA is a plus
• 7-10 years of pure cost accounting and analysis experience in roles of increasing responsibility
• Manufacturing industry is a plus
• Solid systems skills including ERP and MRP systems
• Strong attention to detail but with the ability to step back and see the big picture
• Outstanding leadership, process and project management, communication and interpersonal skills are essential
