Fintrac is currently
recruiting for Rwanda-based senior and mid-level technical and managerial staff
for the upcoming five-year USAID/Rwanda Orora
Wihaze – Increased Protein for Dietary Diversity
activity.
Orora Wihaze’s objective is to promote the production, processing,
distribution, and commercialization of animal-source foods to increase the
availability and consumption of protein in Rwanda. Specialists are sought in:

  • Livestock
    production
  • Dairy
    production
  • Livestock
    & Dairy processing & distribution
  • Agriculture/livestock
    finance
  • Livestock
    marketing
  • Livestock
    policy
  • Monitoring
    & evaluation
  • Grants
    & financial management

Positions to be
based in Kigali with in-country travel. (All positions are contingent upon
Fintrac being awarded this activity.)

Applicants should be
citizens or residents of Rwanda. Kinyarwanda fluency required; working
knowledge of English and French a plus. Minimum BA/BS degree in relevant
technical area with 5+ years’ experience; commercial/private-sector experience
preferred for starred positions. Knowledge of USAID or other donor regulations
required for senior grants and financial management positions.

All candidates
should have an in-depth understanding of the Rwandan agricultural sector.
