The financial assistance application is used to consider prospective students
for:
- Dean’s
and Kennedy Fellowships: These fellowship awards include a minimum of
half-tuition, which may be augmented by need-based scholarships, depending
on individual financial need. - Public
Service Fellowships: These up to full-tuition and possible stipend
fellowships have been established by alumni, friends and former president
Lawrence Summers to support students who are committed to working in
public service.

Requirement: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually
required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level
required by the University.
How to
Apply:
HKS offers fellowships for which admitted applicants are automatically
considered and therefore do not submit a financial assistance application.
U.S. citizens and
permanent residents who wish to be considered for need-sensitive scholarships
and/or loans must also complete a FreeApplication for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form online and have the
results sent to the John F. Kennedy School of Government. FAFSA’s should be
submitted the school code of E00215.
