heart of Melbourne’s CBD, the role of Graduate Engineer is to work with our
dynamic client base and our innovative design team to push the envelope of
sustainability in the built environment while fostering your own growth and
development as an Engineer. Duties of this role include:

heart of Melbourne’s CBD, the role of Graduate Engineer is to work with our
dynamic client base and our innovative design team to push the envelope of
sustainability in the built environment while fostering your own growth and
development as an Engineer. Duties of this role include:
- Communicate
frequently with clients, staff, and contractors - Design and
specify energy efficient equipment and sustainable systems (training
provided) - Develop project
reports and structured communication plans for projects - Distil complex
problems into identifiable challenges for resolution - Liaise with
market suppliers for offerings - Develop business
cases, financial assessments, and engineering solutions for projects - Perform
engineering calculations and modelling computations (training provided) - Provide
continuous improvement and fresh thinking to company offerings - Solve problems
through creative thinking - Support team in
project development - Think
innovatively and drive a competitive edge
The
successful candidate will be a well-rounded individual with experience in an
engineering role or coop program, a passion for sustainability, demonstrable
work ethic, critical thinking skills, and ideally possess a dual degree or
Master’s degree to differentiate their appetite for learning. A
Certificate III or IV in renewable energy, or other training, qualifications,
or experience in renewable energy is also considered an asset. You will
also have demonstrated experience in your ability to communicate effectively
and overcome challenges. These attributes, combined with a fervent desire
for continuous growth will underpin your successful career at Figure Ground
Advisory.
