Sr. Software Engineer (Team Lead)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall systems
development life cycle - Develop the long-term strategy for your
programs and translate that into an achievable road map/action plan - Manage team of systems analysts and analyst
programmers throughout the project or software development lifecycle. - Responsible for project requirements management,
planning, tracking and oversight. - Performing functions within the software
development lifecycle process that includes customer requirements
gathering, systems analysis, systems and database design, coding, users
training, and implementation. - Translating requirements into instructions
that could be understood by programmers in order that the requirements be
translated into software product. - Performing sustenance functions which include
customer liaison, problem troubleshooting, performing software installs
and upgrades - Manage the day-to-day activities of the team
- Report on status of development, quality,
operations, and system performance to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/IT or
equivalent. - Minimum four (4) years of experience handling
medium to large scale projects with at least two (2) years in software
project management and managing people. - Familiar with software development
technologies (for example: Object-Oriented design and analysis,
programming languages in Web environment) and methodologies (for
example: UML,SEI Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) or
other structured methods) for all phases of SDLC. - Strong in ASP.Net, C# VB.Net, MS-SQL 2008
development platforms and good in Object Oriented structure design - Required good technical and design skill in
relational database application. - Excellent analytical, problem solving and
troubleshooting skills. - Independent, self-motivated and self-directed.
- Pleasant personality with excellent
communication skills. - Highly disciplined, work well in team
environment, and effectively lead and manage team. - Exhibits excellent judgment
- Has relentlessly high standards (is never
satisfied with the status quo) - Is able to dive deep and is never out of touch
with the details of the business or the technology - Has passion and convictions and the innate
ability to inspire passion in others - Strong results orientation
