Due to ongoing expansion and increased production they are looking to make the key hire of a Failure Analysis Engineer.
Key responsibilities:
* Focused Ion Beam FIB: Preparation of FIB Section using a dual beam FEI system
* SEM: Preparation and completion of SEM X sections on HITACHI / Other systems
* EDX: Use of surface analysis to determine chemical foot prints
* Fault Isolation: Use of liquid Xtal, or EMMI(OBRICH) back / front side FA methods
* De-processing: Use of Wet lab and plasma etch tool (Oxford Inst) to prepare samples
* Other FA Assistance: SIMS / TEM / Auger / Other job assistance in association with partner laboratories
* FA Report
You will be a graduate in electrical, electronics, engineering or science discipline or equivalent with several years’ industry experience within the semiconductor industry, in a failure analysis engineering role showing device and process knowledge with instrumentation experience.
