The management of EWSA would like to inform the public
that it is recruiting suitable and qualified one (1) Local Counterpart to the

Position: Local Counterpart in Peat (1)
Responsibilities & Duties
- Follow-up and report on the implementation of
peat supply agreement on a daily basis
- Provide to the Head of PMP unit technical advice
on issues affecting the peat mining projects, including work progress,
budgets and costs, and propose mitigation measures;
- When required by EWSA, provide assistance to the
peat to power projects for any matter related to the peat resource
assessment and peat mining projects, including but not limited to studies,
field and laboratory work, etc.
- Ensure that project execution complies with
project agreements, including peat supply agreements, concession agreement
and PPA where applicable and follow-up accepted national and international
standards.
Required qualification & experience
- University degree in the field of Geology, Mining
engineering, Chemistry, Applied Physics or other related fields;
- Knowledge and experience of at least 3 years in
the area of peat
- Superior written and oral communication skills in
English and French
- Must be self-motivated and display common sense
of good work ethic, initiative and good project monitor
