SOCIAL ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST(1)
- University degree in social sciences, and at
least 2 years of progressively senior experience in identifying and
mitigating social risks in projects ; - Thorough understanding of World Bank social
safeguards policies, including involuntary resettlement (OP4.12) ; - Demonstrated experience with civil society
organizations ; - Familiarity with social and economic
conditions prevailing in Rwanda or similar African countries ; - Familiarity with social policies and laws and
regulations of Rwanda related to land acquisition and resettlement
and ; - Should ideally be fluent in English, French
and Kinyarwanda.
ENVIRONMENTAL SAFEGUARDS SPECIALIST(1)
- University degree in one of the Environmental
Sciences or other related fields, and at least 2 years of professional
familiarity with environmental impact assessments ; - Thorough understanding of World Bank
environmental safeguards policies, especially environmental assessment
(OP4.01) ; - Familiarity with environmental conditions
prevailing in Rwanda or similar African countries ; - Familiarity with environmental regulations and
laws in Rwanda, and ; - Should ideally be fluent in English, French
and Kinyarwanda.
