1. Energy Sector planning National Counterpart :
• A university degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, management, economics)
• 2 years relevant work experience
• Willingness and ability to contribute to the successful development of the energy sector
• Ability and motivation to learn from the expert and colleagues
• IT literate scientific & planning software knowledge
• Good communication skills in English
2. National counterpart in geology for geothermal development :
• An undergraduate degree in geology or related field and a masters’ degree in the same field
• Post graduate training in Geothermal Technology would be an added advantage
• 2 years relevant work experience with a minimum of 1 year work experience in exploration and development
• Experience in exploration, project management and evidence of ability to develop staff
• Good communication skills in English
3. Investment Programme Management National counterparts for the Strategic Building Initiative (SCBI)
• A university degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, management, economics) ;
• 2 years relevant work experience
• Knowledge of and interest in energy sector issues in Rwanda and the region
• Willingness and ability to contribute to the successful development of the energy sector
• Good communication skills in English
4. Transmission dispatch National counterpart for the Strategic Capacity Building Initiative (SCBI)
• A university degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, management, economics) ;
• 2 years relevant work experience
• Knowledge of and interest in energy sector issues in Rwanda and the region
• Willingness and ability to contribute to the successful development of the energy sector
• Ability and motivation to learn from the expert and colleague
• Good communication skills in English
5. Human Resources local counterparts
• A university degree in a relevant discipline : Human resources, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law. Management, Sociology or related field
• A master’s degree or at least a Diploma in human resource management or project management is an added advantage
• At least 2 years’ working experience in human resource management
• Comfort with diverse people who have various educational levels, cultural heritages, religious
• Conflict resolution skills
• Able to work in both English and French languages
6. The Energy Sector Legal local counterpart
• A university degree in Law or equivalent field
• A master’s Degree or at least a Diploma in Law is an added advantage
• A minimum of two years similar working experience is required
• Knowledge of and interest in energy sector issues In Rwanda and the region
• Good communication skills in English ; Knowledge of French is an added advantage
7. The Lake Kivu Monitoring Engineer Local Counterpart
• Have at least a Master in Biology, preferentially with an engineer level. Be willing top learn physical concepts
• Hold a master thesis or at least a diploma thesis on Lake Kivu
• Be able to treat correctly and rigorously a large mass of data ;
• Accept to work on the whole lake, on the project boat for several days, also in the Democratic Republic of Congo
8. Procurement local counterpart
• A university degree in a relevant discipline : Procurement, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Economics, Law, Management, or equivalent field
• A master’s Degree or at least a Diploma in Procurement or project management is an added advantage
• A minimum of two years similar working experiences required
• Knowledge of Rwanda Public Procurement Law and Regulations is an advantage
• Able to work in both English and French languages
