Fly to Lukla: It takes you only 30 minutes to cover the flight journey from Kathmandu to Lukla. And get so close you’re able to touch the towering snow-filled Himalayas which stand guard over the happy carefree punters as they frolic on the neighboring open hillside.

Trek to Everest Base Camp: Except for a few houses of a village like Phakding and Namche Bazaar, we see the Nepal‘s mountain as much quite inhabited by its people. After we spent the night in cozy tea houses, we could see Mt. Langtang, Mt. Ama Dablam, and Mt. Everest.

Day-by-Day Plan

  • Day 1: When this day comes, first arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m).
  • Day 2: Then we\’ll fly to Lukla. Walk to Phakding (2,610m).
  • Day 3: Reach Namche Bazaar today (3,440m). I am tired and yet I am very blissful.
  • Day 4: No days for rest exists. But one is only leflt to Namche Bazaar.
  • Day 5: Walk up to Tengboche (3,860m).
  • Day 6: They continue with the walk to Dingboche (4,410m).
  • Day 7: The day is a time for recovery and breathing of the body at Dingboche. So, one will increase their physical strength.
  • Day 8: Then get on to Lobuche (4,910m)
  • Day 9: Go to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) on foot. Come back to Gorak Shep (5,164m).
  • Day 10: Go up Kala Patthar (5,545m). Come down to Pheriche (4,240m).
  • Day 11: The joy remains completely yours when you come to Lukla (2,860m).
  • Day 12: Then sky back to Kathmandu.

We will be sleeping in tea houses and lodges. The rooms are only basic but still okay. Are flights part of the trip?

One needs a Sagarmatha National Park Permit and a TIMS card.
