The Embassy of the United States of America in Kigali is recruiting for the
position of Plumber.
The position is available to start immediately.
DUTIES
Maintenance, repair and improvement of all Government-owned and leased
buildings by performing plumbing work.
REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with
specific and comprehensive information supporting each item:
1. Completion of vocational training or apprenticeship recognized as producing
journeyman-plumbing skills required.
2. One year of assistant to a journeyman plumber is required.
3. Fluency in Kinyarwanda is required.
Interested candidates for

2. Candidates who claim U.S. Veterans preference must provide a copy of their
Form DD-214 with their application. Candidates who claim conditional U.S.
Veterans preference must submit documentation confirming eligibility for a
conditional preference in hiring with their application.
3. Any other documentation (e.g., essays, certificates, awards) that addresses
the qualification requirements of the position as listed above.
4. Must have understanding of plumber trade knowledge.
