ACCOUNTANT / SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
MYR 3000 – 5000 Basic and Allowances
Selangor
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the overall function of the accounting department
• Oversee the day to day finance operations.
• Prepare full set of financial statements, monthly and quarterly management reports (including financial analysis and performance review) that are accurately prepared on a timely basis and adhere to accounting standards.
• Undertake feasibility studies on business forecast for investment / divestment decisions.
• Prepare relevant papers for submission to Management and Board.
• Preparation of forecast and annual budgets.
• Maintain strong internal controls, best practices and ensure compliance with the relevant Financial Reporting Standards.
• To liaise with auditors and external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries and others in complying to statutory requirements.
• Ability to lead, coach and supervise subordinates.
Requirements:
• Preferably with Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or ACCA/CIMA/MICPA Level 2 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in financial accounting and management.
• Experience in the advertising / media industry or audit firm is essential.
• Computer literate with strong proficiency in MSWord and Excel. Knowledge in accounting software will be an advantage.
• Strong in communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
