We are seeking a vibrant and innovative leader for Educo Adventure
School. The Executive
Director is responsible for leading the development and managing the operations
of Educo with
integrity and compassion.

town of 100 Mile House & our beautiful, off-the-grid site just west of town

Primary Accountabilities
& Responsibilities

- Board support and policy management
- Stewardship of financial health
- Generate revenue for the organization
- Human resources management for administrative staff and
Program Director - Support the Program Director in the leadership and
management of the program season - Safety and quality of program delivery
- Promotion in being the face of the organization
- Technological development of the organization
Preferred Skills &
Experience
- Qualifications and experience of an Educo
Course Leader - 1 or more year(s) as an
organizational leader or manager - 1 or more year(s) as a staff member at an outdoor
education program - Knowledge of accounting and finance, especially in
charitable sector - Experience in fundraising: campaign creativity and
management and grant-writing - Understanding of legal and financial obligations of BC
non-profits and Canadian charities - Working knowledge of risk management and liability for
outdoor and children’s programs - Personal growth, communication or group process training
(eg. Non Violent Communication, Art of Hosting, Rites of Passage,
Mindfulness, etc). - Preferred certifications: ACMG TRCI, AHG/HG,
AdventureWorks! Ropes Course & Climbing Program Management Course
