Edmen Community Staffing Solutions is nationally recognised as the leading provider of Care Workers to government and non-government disability organisations.
We have current vacancies for casual Disability Support Workers in the Wollongong region and Nowra to support people living with disabilities.
The successful applicants will be required to work in group homes, respite services, day program and In-home environments supporting people living with disabilities.
Morning, afternoon, sleepovers, active nightshifts and weekends are required in this role, applicants must have a flexible availability.
This role requires personal care, manual handling and a high level of physical activity. Applicants must be willing and able to perform these duties to be successful for this position.
We would encourage people that meet the below selection criteria to apply:
– A current Australian Drivers Licence
– Own transport (preferably own car)
– A current Senior First Aid Certificate (or a willingness to obtain one)
– Industry experience (at least 3 months paid experience, aged care experience suitable)
– MUST be willing and able to drive a 12 seater van
