Prescott-Russell and Stormont-Dundas-Glengarry Counties and to serve
the Network’s membership base through its activities and projects. The
Coordinator will be responsible for projects and operations including,
but not limited to:
• Coordinating the PR&SDG Local Food Map
• Coordinating the PR&SDG Local Food Marketing & Branding committee
• Providing Nutritional Labelling services
• Working on the development of a Food Hub in Prescott-Russell
• Coordinating EOAN Marketing and Communications (website, social
media, newsletters, news bites) and Events
• Participating in Regional advocacy work with the Eastern Ontario
Local Food and Farming Collaborative
• Managing the EOAN’s Board of Directors

The Coordinator will be guided by the recently developed Strategic
Plan of the Network and a Trillium Grant workplan, and will report to
the United Counties of Prescott & Russell’s Economic Development
department.

Candidate Requirements

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Economic Development, Marketing,
Communications, or a related field

Work Experience
• Excellent understanding of the local food sector, particularly in PR&SDG
• Good understanding of the local political landscape and the local economy

Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent relational skills, strong outreach skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure

Management Skills
• Capable of managing a Board of Directors and experience in
organizing and running meetings
• Office and project management experience
• Practical marketing experience

Communications Skills
• Bilingual (French and English, written and oral)
• Able to conduct presentations to diverse audiences

Technical Skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.
Experience in Adobe PhotoShop and InDesign considered an asset.
• Able to read and analyze financial statements
• Experience in grant-writing
• Experience in conducting evaluations
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
