Job
Description
  • Urgent
    opportunity for experienced Sales Engineers or Managers selling formwork
    or construction material with one of the largest companies in the
    industry.
  • The
    main focus is to grow and manage sales within the West Africa Region.
  • This
    position is home based with a lot of travel within the region.
  • We
    will consider cande East.
Duties
/ Responsibilities
  • Gain
    and maintain a comprehensive knowledge about the company’s products and
    services
  • Knowledge
    about how the company’s products and services compare with the competition
  • Identify
    potential customers and projects
  • Provide
    customer support during all project stages
  • Be
    accountable for all credit interactions with the customer
  • In
    cooperation with management, produce plans, budgets, forecasts
    (effectively using the CRM tool)
  • Work
    towards and exceed sales targets set by the company
  • Prepare
    and present presentations and proposals
  • Develop
    both new and existing accounts and expand business
  • Sell
    service solutions and products
  • Ensure
    the number of prospect calls each month does not fall below the agreed
    standard
  • Ensure
    there is a full knowledge of all the key customers decision makers and key
    influencers
  • Maintain
    and update customer records and enquiry status
Qualifications
/ Knowledge / Experience
  • Civil
    Engineering Degree
  • Formwork/construction
    material sales experience in Africa
  • Excellent
    skills in English required, any other local languages are a big plus
Skills
/ Characteristics:
  • Understand
    the construction methodology
  • Passionate
    to find solutions for clients
  • Excellent
    communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience
    in selling value-added solutions
Salary
Salary is market related.
