1937 to provide accommodation, pastoral care and academic support to young
women from rural and regional Queensland.

Objective
Being
responsible for the financial and operational management of Duchesne College in
accordance with the policies of the Duchesne College Council, the Director of
Finance and Operations will need to:

- Maintain
effective accounting systems and procedures to ensure the College meets
its financial and legislative obligations. - Provide
strong management of staff, combined with sound, forward thinking and
strategic financial planning. - Be
able to apply productive financial modelling, to bring about the stability
required for the future development of a Master Plan. - Ensure
the maintenance of the College environs and implement policies and
procedures in the operations of the College as approved by the College
Council and Head of College.
Experience
& Qualifications
& Qualifications
- Undergraduate
degree or Masters in Accounting. - Experience
at a tertiary level or in a secondary educational environment - 5
years’ experience in managing a staff and budget of similar size.
