We are looking for a new member to join our small team who is keen to work full
time and keen to carry out the work of a real architect in a traditional way.
As an all-rounder you will be very experienced in design concept work through
to full documentations and potentially you will also have contract adm
inistration
experience. You will be proficient at AutoCAD and Revit would be very desirable
but not essential (at this stage this is not the cad tool we use but we would
like to start). You will also be proficient in microsoft word and knowledge of
sketchup would be very helpful.
You will have worked in small practice and be use to multi-tasking.
You will have an real interested in creating great living environments and you
will have a folio demonstrating many domestic project examples.
You will understand the value of accurate detailing has for the successful
execution of a project and you will have folio examples demonstrating your
skill in this regard.
In general you will have extensive knowledge suited to domestic architecture
and you will have many examples of this type of work in your folio completed in
Australia while working for other office. You will demonstrate this
effectively through detailed project work examples.
You will also have some skill at mentoring and/or supervising and/or
mentoring other less skilled staff.
Above all you will have the personality and attitude that will represent the
practice in the right way and engage with clients that have an emotional
investment in their project.
