Requirements & Responsibilities
B Com Hons
At least 4-7 years experience
Would be beneficial to have industry experience
Monthly reporting to shareholders (including month end flash results & variance analysis)
Quarterly reports to Audit Committee, Board Committee & Namibia shareholders
Annual budgeting for 2 countries
Compilation of year end Audit and Tax packs for foreign entities
Calculation of transfer pricing fee between RSA & foreign entities, including interest charges on loan accounts & management of intercompany loan accounts
Management of Van Rental Franchise relationships & related accounting entries
Compliance management to Franchise agreements & relationship building with Franchises
Oversight of *** debts & debtors book (Botswana, Namibia & Van Rental franchises)
Maintenance of lease master file & monthly lease costs to various landlords, including straight lining of leases payable
Liaison with Divisional Accountant RSA to ensure that the General Ledger chart of accounts is aligned
