Engineering Consultancy who specialise in Civil Engineering, due to recent
growth and successful wins with RMS and Local Authorities on highways, local
roads, intersections, roundabouts, flyovers, bridges and tunnels they are
seeking a Principal Road Engineer to Lead the Design Team out of their Sydney
Office.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background in
Road Design, Project Management, Team Leadership and Client Liaison.

Roles and
Responsibilities of the Principal Road Engineer will include
- Lead
the management of the Roads and Traffic Division in Sydney. - Project
Management of Engineers, Designers and Drafters on RMS projects; - You
will be responsible for meeting project deadlines, monitoring budgets and
controlling expenditure to meet your targets. - Liaising
with clients, contractors, other consultants and local authorities. - Mentoring
junior engineers.
considered for the role of Principal Road Engineer, you will
- Degree
in Civil Engineering (or other relevant) - Minimum
10 years experience in Civil Engineering - Ideally
you will have a minimum of 5 years Project Management experience for an
Engineering Consultancy in Sydney on RMS projects - Solid
Project Management and Co-ordination skills working on NSW projects - Knowledge
of local Government and Service Authority, construction standards,
specifications and processes - Impeccable
communication skills (written and verbal) to aid in continuous interaction
with team members and outside stakeholders.
