Scale of Pay: (Pre-revised Rs.10000 – 15200/-) (Revised Rs. PB-3/Rs.15600 – 39100 + 6600 GP).
Eligibility:
Officers under the Central or State Governments or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations.
(a)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of (Pre revised Rs.8000 – 13500) (Revised Rs. PB-3/Rs.15600-39100 + 6600 GP) or equivalent in the parent Cadre or Department; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-
Essential:
(i) Degree in Glass or Ceramics Technology from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.
(ii) Five years experience in a supervisory capacity in a technical organization or industrial concern in the manufacture of glass and glassware, ceramic whitewares, etc.
(iii) Knowledge of latest techniques of production and use of modern machinery, equipment and tools as applied to the above trades.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
