Definition of Terms

Effects: This means a change produced by an
action or other causes.
Environment: Means the sum of all living and
non-living things that surround an individual.
Hazards: This is something that can cause
accident or dangerous to health.
Health: This is the complete state of physical,
mental and social wellbeing of an individual and not merely the absence of disease
or infirmity.
Noise Pollution: An excessive noise in the environment
that is undesirable to human hearing.

Noise: A sound undesirable to human hearing.
Pollution: The act or process of polluting or the
state of being polluted especially the contamination of soil, water or the
atmosphere by the discharge of harmful substances.
Sawmill: Is a machine or plant with power driven
machines for sawing logs into rough squared section or boards.
Sleep: The normal periodic suspension of
consciousness during which the power of the body are restored.
Stress: In psychological and biological, any
strain or interference that disturbs the functioning of the organisms.
Threshold: Is observation population marked out
for the purpose of analysis of setting effects.
