Job Summary
To serve as an internal business consultant in order to enhance organisational
effectiveness and talent management through development, facilitating and
supporting appropriate interventions.
Requirements
Minimum
Requirements
- Degree
in Social Sciences or Equivalent. - 7 years
post qualification experience.
Key
Activities
- Analyses
the divisional area’s financial needs to develop a budget and ensures
sufficient financial resources to meet business needs. - Manages
and controls allocated funds and operates within approved parameters. - Develops
and monitors implementation of Talent management strategic plans to ensure
achievement of organizational objectives. - Develops
systems and processes to facilitate succession/ localization planning. - Manages
and coordinates process activities in liaison with HR Managers e.g.
secondment & exchange of employees, attraction and retention
interventions. - Develops
and ensures consistent application of Talent management frameworks. - Provides
professional assistance and guidance to the business in all aspects of
Talent Management practices. - Develops
and reviews the operations human capital development strategies and
objectives tensure that operations present and future human resources
development service requirements and business goals are met. - Determines
and recommends best practice Training and Development service delivery
models and service providers to ensure the fostering of innovative
approaches to HR development. - Researches
and recommends methods of assessments which assist in identifying employee’s
ability/ potential for decision making purposes. - Manages
and coordinates training and development activities tensure conformity
with set objectives and best practice by: - Analyzing
mine needs, trends, new directions - Setting
training standards - Initiating
changes to training programmes in line with trends identified. - Assessing
training and development programs for their ability to meet identified
needs. - Deciding
on the appropriate training/evaluation methodologies. - Develops
frameworks/ processes that will facilitate compliance to training
legislative requirements across the entire mine e.g. Training Levy
recovery. - Develops
and monitors implementation of OE strategic plans tensure achievement of
organizational objectives. - Designs
and develops new OE processes and systems tintroduce/ support management
practices and enable implementation of the operations business strategies. - Coaches
HR Practitioners on OE skills in order tdevelop broader consulting, and
change management skills within their roles. - Develops
change management and transformation frameworks - Provides
expertise in the identification, development and implementation of best
practice for organizational effectiveness (including change management,
organization/job design, process improvement/ productivity, team working
and other Organizational Effectiveness methodologies that assist in the
functioning of the business and its leaders).
