David Moss Corporation (DAMOS) is an Australian based manufacturer and supplier of Poly and PVC pipe and fittings, underground ventilation systems and rubber screening products, supplying Australian and international markets.
We are seeking a Polywelder for our Polyfab department located at our Neerabup premises (northern suburb of Perth), working rotating day and afternoon shifts. Overtime is available.
Reporting to the shift supervisor you will be responsible for:
• the fabrication of poly products using butt welding and extrusion welding methods.
• ensuring all jobs are done following correct procedures and quality levels, and are completed on time.
• ensuring appropriate paperwork is completed for tasks as appropriate.
• Adhering to all safety legislation, regulations and procedures.
Criteria:
• Polywelder’s ticket
• Forklift ticket
• Ability to read basic plan drawings
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Minimum of 6 months polywelding experience (fabrication experience highly regarded)
• Experience in workshop environment
• Experience using power tools
