Objective I
To
find out if there is existence of health implication in Otor-Iwhreko Sawmill
industry.
Hypothesis I
Ho:
There are no existence of health implication in Otor-Iwhreko sawmill
industries.
Ha:
There are existences of health implication in Otor-Iwhreko sawmill industries.

Questions
1, 2 and 3, in the questionnaire are set of related questions that represent
the data for treatment of the above stated hypothesis as shown in table 4.1
below.

is equal to 152 which respondent 50.67% while those that responded “No” is
equal to 148 representing 49.33%. the calculated Chi-square (X2)
value is equal to 38.514 while the table value of X2 = 0.05 at 2df
is 5.991.
Applying
decision rule since the calculated value is > than the table value, the null
hypothesis was rejected and the alternate was accepted, which shows that there
are existence of health implication in Otor-Iwhreko sawmill industries.

Objective II
To
ascertain the causes of hazard in sawmill industry
Hypothesis II
Ho:
There are no causes of hazards in sawmill industries in the community.
Ha:
There are causes of hazards in sawmill industries in the community.

data for the treatment of the above stated hypothesis as shown in table 4.2

null hypothesis was rejected and the alternate was accepted, which shows that
there are causes of hazards in sawmill industries in the community.

to 157 which represent 52.33%. The calculated Chi-square (X2) value
is equal to 26.0 while the table value of X2 = 0.05 at 2df is 5.991.
Applying
the decision rule, since the calculated value is > than the table value, the
null hypothesis was rejected and the alternate was accepted which shows that
sawmill activities have effect on the people.

find out the possible ways of improving the standard of sawmill industries.

There are possible ways of  improving the

the decision rule, since the calculated value is > than the table value, the
null hypothesis was rejected and the alternate was accepted which shows that
there are possible ways of improving the standard of sawmill industries in the
community.
