Title: Plant Manager (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Organise all plant activities
• Plan daily plant activities
• Control quality and usage of chemicals
• Ensure water production is at maximum level.
• Prepare plant budgets.
• Advise the management on matters relating to plant performance
• Ensure smooth operation and good utilization of manpower in the plant.
• Prepare and submit periodical reports timely
• Making preliminary investigation of water works for rehabilitation of systems
for future development.
• Prepare and plan maintenance schedule also maintain the O&M module.
• Carrying out emergency water repair/rehabilitation works in the plant.
• Ensure strict adherence of the Occupational health and safety (OSHA) in all
Sub-section works/activities
Qualification and Experience:
• The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Water and
Civil Engineering with a minimum of four (4) years Experience in water
production sector or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in water supply industry will be an added advantage.

• The holder of the position should be able to display mastery of a complex and
specialized area of knowledge and skills,
• employing knowledge and understanding to conduct research or advanced
technical or professional activity,
• able to work autonomously and in complex and unpredictable situations
Salary and Remuneration
