The purpose of the program will strengthen institutional and human capacity in targeted government institutions and civil society organizations. The program is expected to begin in the first part of 2012.
Long- and short-term positions under the program will be based in Kigali, Rwanda, and will be filled by experts in the following technical areas:
• Capacity building and development, particularly in government or civil society organizations;
• Training, especially training of trainers;
• Justice, access to justice, rule of law, public prosecution, courts administration;
• Local governance, municipal administration, decentralization;
• Agriculture, agribusiness, rural development;
• Public financial management, budgeting, revenue;
• Human resources and organizational development.
Candidates with credentials in the technical areas mentioned above are strongly encouraged to apply. DAI is also seeking candidates with strong experience in USAID program administration, operations and financial management, accounting and procurement.
Fluency in English is required.
All positions on the program will be contingent upon DAI being awarded the contract, and USAID approving all of the proposed candidates.
