You will join our clients Channel Services & Delivery IT staff. Channel Services & Delivery IT leads the innovative development and contributes to the maintenance of Partner internal and externally facing solutions. These solutions are for the benefit of their world-wide Services Sales & Delivery organizations, which are multi-billion dollar businesses. These solution are typically Mission Critical and support all of the service partners engagements
Job Description:
• Working on the Channel Services program you will have a leadership role in the implementation of the program’s presentation or transaction/data center layer.
• This sub-system of the program will build on an evolving ‘state of the art’ framework. It is being designed against aggressive scalability, availability and security specifications.
• The portal will be structured to partition core/shared services and feature services. Human factors analysis will play a significant role in the overall portal design.
• This will entail technical consulting with other support automation sub-system teams on maximizing the overall end user experience of the system
Role will also entail :-
1. Story boarding of use cases;
2. Wireframe mock ups of presentation pages;
3. Overall design of portal;
4. Testing of e2e user experience and
5. Stress testing to ensure availability and performance goals are met.
Qualifications:
• Current Java/J2SE/J2EE experience, and proven object oriented development experience. Alternatively, MS Visual Studio 2008; MS C# .NET; MS ASP.NET; MS ADO.NET; MS SQL Server 2008; MS Office SharePoint Server 2007; MS Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Vignette Portal suite
• Apache, BEA, Weblogic
• Extended Markup Language technologies (XML, XSLT, XSD)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 plus year’s related experience or Master’s degree and a minimum of 4-6 years experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work well with geographically diverse and international teams spanning US, Europe, India and China.
