Eligibility: The following
criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this
scholarship:
The CAPS Scholarship is available to all international students applying
for full-time undergraduate programmes who have submitted an application
for study 30th June 2017
  • The
    Scholarships are allocated to applicants on the basis of their academic
    merit. Allocation will be decided on assessment of the following;
  • Academic
    qualifications (at least two of three A-levels at grade A or equivalent
    qualifications)
  • Understanding
    of the course and motivation to study at Coventry
  • Extra-curricular
    or work experience
  • This
    award is for international fee payers only.
Nationality:
International
applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Admission Requirement
Entrance
Requirements: Applicants must hold at least two of three A-levels at grade A
(or hold equivalent qualifications).
Test
Requirements: At undergraduate and postgraduate level, applicants must achieve
a CEFR B2 level of English by successfully completing a ‘Secure English
Language Test’ (SELT) or additionally they can attain a University approved
English result from one of the below home countries:
  • India
    – HSSC 60% or above at undergraduate level
  • India
    – HSSC 65% or above at postgraduate level
  • Africa
    – WAEC – Level C6 or above
English
language Requirements: In order to obtain a Tier 4 student visa,
applicants are required to demonstrate that they have the correct level of
English language competency to study in the UK. The requirements differ
dependent on whether they are applying to study
a Foundation or Pre-Sessional English programme or those
who wish to study at undergraduate or postgraduate degree level.

International Office will need the following information in order to
make a decision on their application:
  • All
    academic transcripts
  • Copies
    of degree/diploma certificates or work reference if employed
  • One
    academic reference
  • An
    English language test score
  • Their
    personal statement
  • Copy
    of their current passport

Scholarship
application deadline is June 30, 2017. If applicants are successful they will
be notified in due course by the International Office.
