Our Client is an International Remote Sites solution provider delivering a comprehensive service solution to businesses and communities in remote locations throughout Africa. The business manages and operates in hundreds of remote locations across Africa providing catering, laundry, camp site services and to the Oil & Gas + Mining Clients, often in extreme, unfamiliar and under the harshest conditions
We are looking for a Country Manager to manage their operations in Tanzania, with a potential for development with Mining clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the definition of the commercial strategy for our operations and their development, achieving set economic objectives for the country.
• Look for new business prospects in the country & developing the existing ones.
• Manage, develop and motivate a multinational team of approx 300 people.
• Achieve sustainable growth and optimizing profitability.
• Ensure client and employee satisfaction.
• Create a positive network with local authorities and community organizations.
• Capacity to set up a strategy compliant with our clients’ high expectations in terms of local content, empowerment of the national workforce. Capacity to build a win/win strategy with the local communities.
• Ensure visible commitment to Health and Safety issues in all aspects of the business
• Be fully responsible for the preparation of budget and its achievement.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Operation Director or Business Development Director, preferably in Africa.
• Experience of managing IFM solutions.
• Highly developed Sales, Market analysis, negotiation and financial skills.
• Demonstrated skills in winning profitable business beyond target expectations.
• Ability to prepare new tenders / bids, negotiate and successfully close the deals with the clients.
• Ability to develop a network with the prospective client, and interface with them at all levels. Exposure to Mining sector would be a benefit.
• Working knowledge of relevant legislation and structuring of contracts.
• Ability to impart knowledge, delegate, train and empower the in-country team.
• Successful experience in terms of local content strategy set-up and implementation. Capacity to set-up and communicate KPI on that matter.
• Autonomous, with good leadership and management skills.
• Team player ability to work transversally
• Fluent in English in both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ethical attitude to business and commitment to the businesses values and ethical principles
• Ability to travel frequently within the country.
