Condition Monitoring Technical Advisor Job Vacancy in Tanzania

A position currently exists for a qualified
person to be responsible for the following:

· Optimise the use of all condition monitoring
and non-destructive testing equipment to achieve operational targets.

· Identifies equipment failures before they
occur by analysing trends and recommending suitable interventions.

· Reviews condition monitoring information and
make recommendations to improve fixed and mobile plant equipment reliability.

· Gather and analyse
condition monitoring results of the mobile and fixed plant equipment to
improve reliability.

· Forecast equipment
life/performance from the condition monitoring data captured and assessed.

· Generate reliable and
accurate reports on equipment function and performance during operation.

· Provides on the job
training to condition monitoring mechanicians.

· Manage the individual development plans of the
condition monitoring mechanicians in line with site skill requirements.

· Knowledge, Training
& Experience required eg. qualifications or experience:

· Recognized tertiary, trade
or technical certificate level qualification.

· Experience in failure mode
analysis.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Minimum of 5 years
experience in a mine Condition Monitoring role.

· Proven excellent safety
record

· Ability to speak, read and
write in English

Practical/Specialist Skills:
eg. Keyboard, Software Distribution, etc.:

· Experienced in current maintenance
practices and techniques.

· Trained and competent in
dynamic balancing.

· Trained and competent in
vibration analysis.

· Trained and competent in
oil analysis.

· Good computer skills and
knowledge of MS Office Suite: word processing, spread sheeting and the site
based business system.

· Facilitation skills.
