The Role
The Community Newspaper Group is seeking a dynamic individual to work as a
journalist with our Group Real Estate team, specifically writing stories for
the company’s real estate assets, which include our Residential magazines

Key Criteria

Ideally, successful candidates will have tertiary qualifications in journalism
or communications.

In order to be
successful in the role, you will need to have a strong interest and awareness
of the real estate market.

As a real estate
journalist, you will need to initiate and research stories across a
comprehensive range of topics related to buying, selling, and owning property,
both domestic and commercial.

Under the direction
of the editor, your primary tasks will include reviews of properties, analysis
of market issues and trends, develop an awareness of home building and design
trends and establish contacts across the industry.

The Company
Community Newspaper Group publishes 17 newspapers and is one of Western
Australia’s largest media organisations. Each week, more than 700,000 *
people across Perth read their local Community newspaper.
