Reporting
to the Managing Director, the

Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will be responsible
for planning, directing and controlling the financial resources of the Bank and
ensuring sound overall financial management and performance in line with the
strategic plan. He/she will also oversee the Bank’s investment and funding
opportunities as well as the treasury portfolio and provide guidance and
oversight for the General Services & Administration function in the Bank.
The jobholder will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the
various stakeholders in line with the regulatory framework, financial reporting
standards and the Central Bank guidelines.
Qualifications

- A
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, Economics or
Banking & Investment. - Full
professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CPA - Master’s
degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field. - At
least 10 years’ experience in the Banking industry of which 5 years should
be at senior management level in a Banking institution. - At
least 3 years’ experience in strategic planning, treasury management and
financial analysis.

- Good
understanding of the banking sector in Rwanda and in the region - Knowledge
of the rules and regulations governing the banking sector in Rwanda. - Good
strategic planning skills. - Advanced
numerical skills – statistical analysis, financial modelling and analysis
at a high level. - Excellent
written and oral communication with ability to explain complex financial
information and trends. - High
level of integrity and professionalism - Strong
leadership and people management skills; ability to lead a large team - Excellent
relationship building and networking skills - Good
judgment and decision making skills
