The Spanish National
Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) announces up to 11 vacancies for undergraduate
students to work in a lab at the CNIO over the summer. Students should
be in their final two years of studies in the Life Sciences or related
subjects (e.g. Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and
Bioinformatics). The programme will run from June 24 to August 16 (8
weeks). Travel expenses and meals will be covered by the CNIO for summer
training programme students during their stay at the center. Fellowships will
be awarded on a competitive basis taking into consideration the student’s
academic record and the personal statement. Applications should be sent online.

Eligibility:
-Applicants must be an undergraduate university student in your final two years
of Life Sciences or Bio medicine -related studies (in any country) and planning
on pursuing a career in the Life Sciences.
-Applicants must have an excellent academic track record with a Grade
Point Average (GPA) above 0.75(with your GPA as the numerator and the highest
possible GPA as the denominator).
-Applicants must have a good knowledge of English.
-Applicants must be available from June 24to August 16(8 weeks) to attend
the training programme . If you cannot be at the CNIO during this period, you
will not be eligible for the programme.

Selection
Criteria:
Positions will be awarded on a competitive basis taking into consideration the
student’s academic records and motivation letter. In case of equal merits,
students in their final year of studies will be given preference.
