As a CASA Project Manager you will provide leadership and direction to multi-stakeholder project teams that develop policy recommendations for some of Alberta’s most challenging air quality files. You will facilitate team discussions, manage team dynamics and handle issues that have the potential to impede team progress. You will build positive working relationships across stakeholder groups and foster a climate in which interest-based negotiation helps stakeholders to reach ground-breaking agreements. You are able to manage complex projects and to produce deliverables on time and to a high standard.
At a minimum, successful candidates will have:
• a university degree in a related field (e.g. natural resource sciences, conservation sciences geography, etc.) or a comparable combination of education and experience;
• 3 years of related work experience;
• a working knowledge of multi-stakeholder processes and demonstrated facilitation experience;
• a demonstrated ability to write well and communicate effectively.
While this position will focus on the management of multi-stakeholder teams, candidates with a background in communications will bring added value to the CASA Secretariat. This may include a working knowledge of media/public relations, on-line publication, website management and/or strategic communications planning and implementation.
