Authority (CAA) is a corporate body responsible for the regulation of Civil
Aviation in Uganda. It manages Entebbe International Airport and 13 other
aerodromes uncountry. CAA carries wily in conformity with International Civil
Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standarde and Recommended Practices (SARPS). The
Authority now plans to recruit suitably qualified Ugandans of impeccable
intergrity and commtment to fill the following position in its establishment as

POST: SENIOR ACCOUNTING OFFICER
-TAX & ASSET MANAGEMENT. REPO
RTS TO : PRINCIPAL FINANCIAL
ACCOUNTANT
SALARY LEVEL: 11
JOB PURPOSE
The job exists to handle all tax affairs expeditiously to alleviate the
incidences of tax penalties arising out of delays, errors and omissions in the
tax returns.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Maintain the Fixed Assets Register.
2. Handling of Tax matters
EDUCATION
• B. Com (Hons) or BBA (Hons) Accounting option obtained from a recognised
University.
• Professional qualification with minimum of certificate stage of ACCA and
Level 2 of CPA (K) or CPA (U).
• Minimum of 4 years experience in accounting work in a large organization of
good repute
• Must have working knowledge in MS Wool, MS Excel, MS Power point and
committal/lel accounting.
EXPERIENCE
Relevant work experience of 6 years in a reputable organization with at least 4
years practical experience in a similar job.
