The Ministry of Defence, Justice and Security invites applications from qualified citizens of Botswana to fill the following vacancies;
1. CHIEF SYSTEMS ANALYST
SALARY SCALE: D1 (P227 820 – P251520) per annum
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should possess a recognized Degree Computer Studies, Data Communications and Networking with a strong emphasis on networking technologies, Data Processing or any Information Technology related subjects. Other certifications and knowledge of networking technologies, Internet/Intranet technologies will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
At least eight (8) years experience in the field of IT, two (2) years of which should have been at the level of Principal Systems Analyst I or equivalent level.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide leadership in the planning, implementation and promotion of IT functions in the Ministry. Undertakes research to identify ways of exploiting Information Technology networking concepts to find solutions to complex organisational and technical networking problems.
