applications from intelligent and self-motivated persons for the position of
Production Controller tenable at Blantyre.  Suitable candidates should be
graduates preferably in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or Food Science with
a minimum of 2 years experience in similar position. Those with Diplomas
preferably in the aforementioned disciplines with a minimum of 5 years hands on
experience in similar position will be considered. KEY ATTRIBUTE

hours. KEY PERFORMANCE OUTPUTReporting to the Production Manager, the
Production Controller will be directly responsible for effective and efficient
supervision of and control of production and packaging department to ensure
maximum output with cost effective practices compliance with brewery standard
operating procedures. FUNCTIONSØ  Controlling costs and working
within budgetØ  Managing and motivating staff to achieve targetsØ 
Enforcing discipline, policy and compliance to procedureØ  Handling a
highly demanding environmentØ  Supervising all production operations and
quality control.Ø  Deployment, supervision and training of staff on
occupational health, safety and housekeeping.Ø  Controlling movement of
stocks between sections.Ø  Ability to enforce discipline, policy and
procedure compliance
