CHF International Rwanda is seeking for a Management Information Systems (MIS)
Manager for the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Unit.
He will oversee the team’s management information system, including the
database, capturing youth economic strengthening interventions, student
enrollment in school and industrial attachments, and TVET partner schools under
the USAID/Higa Ubeho program. This includes working closely with the TVET
Team Leader to establish a practical, user-friendly, and cost-effective MIS
that generates reports to guide the delivery of services and support to youth
and report reach and impact of program youth-focused interventions.
Job Title: Management
Information Systems Manager (MIS Manager)
Key responsibilities:
• Design and implement a comprehensive MIS to track the delivery of services to
youth and key health, social, and economic outcomes associated with program
services.
• Develop a program database (specific to TVET) in any of the following
programs: Epi Info, SPSS, ACCESS, SAS , QDS etc.
• Support the development of tools to capture all data required for the TVET
MIS.
• Manage data entry, maintain completeness, and check data quality of database,
and larger MIS.
• Analyse data and provide recommendations to guide program delivery, and
technical assistance plans.
• Support the development of program reports.
Minimum requirements:
• MSc Degree in Information Technology
• Diploma in computer applications and Net technologies
• Data Analysis Software ( eg. SPSS, SAS, QDS, or Epi Info)
• 2 years working experience
• Strong supervisory, data quality assurance, and management skills
• English and Kinyarwanda proficiency. Knowledge of French is an added asset.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to develop
and maintain good relationships with colleagues and program partners
